ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচ (কলকাতা): মাত্র আট বছর বয়সে তিনি মূকাভিনয় শুরু করেন। বারো বছর বয়সে তিনি ভারতীও মুখাভিনয়ের জনক যোগেশ দত্তের কাছে নিওমিত মূখাভিনয় শিক্ষা শুরু করেন। ১৯৮৫ সালে যোগেশ মাইম অ্যাকাডেমি ৫ বছরের ডিপ্লোমা কোর্স শেষ করেন। ওই বয়স থেকেই তিনি সারা ভারতে তাঁর মূকাভিনয় অনুষ্ঠান করে বেরান। পরবর্তীকালে তিনি হাওড়া কলামঞ্জরী সংস্থা তৈরি করেন। তিনি মূকাভিনেতা সুমন মুখার্জী।এখানে তিনি মুকাভিনয় শেখানো শুরু করেন এবং দক্ষ মূকাভিনয়ের ছাত্রদের নিয়ে তিনি একটি পেশাদার মূকাভিনয় দল তৈরি করেন। হাওড়া কলামঞ্জরী আজ ৩৯ বছরে পদার্পণ করেছে। পরবর্তীকালে সুমন মুখাজী রবীন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে নাটকে মাস্টার ডিগ্রি শেষ করেন। ১৯৯২ সালে তিনি মূকাভিনয়ের জন্য Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India থেকে National Scholarship পেয়েছিলেন। এছারাও তিনি প্রচুর সরকারি অনুষ্ঠানে তাঁর সংস্থা হাওড়া কলামঞ্জরীর ছাত্রদের মূকাভিনয় অনুষ্ঠান করে থাকেন। বর্তমানে তিনি রবিন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নাট্য বিভাগের external examiner। দিল্লী দূরদর্শন এবং কলকাতা দূরদর্শনে তিনি অনেক মূকাভিনয় করেছেন। পরবর্তীকালে বি...

INDRAJIT AICH (KOLKATA): Aditya Academy, Dumdum celebrated Halloween with an imaginative theme — *“Where West Meets East”*, blending Western traditions with the storytelling legacy of Indian cinema. The campus transformed into a vibrant space of creativity and culture.  Primary School students drew inspiration from Satyajit Ray’s *“Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor”*, reviving Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayin in a positive, imaginative light. Through music and dramatization, they portrayed how “good spirits” inspire courage, kindness, and creativity — reminding everyone that Bengali folklore too has its own witty and wise ghosts. INDRAJIT AICH (KOLKATA): The 11th Asian Mining Congress and International Mining Equipment and Minerals Exhibition which is organised by Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India (MGMI) was today inaugurated. The theme of this year AMC is "Innovative & Responsible Mining for Inclusive Growth".The inauguration of the Asian Mining Congress and the exhibition was done by Shri Vikram Dev Dutt, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, in the presence of Shri P M Prasad, the outgoing Chairman, Coal India, Shri Ujjwal Tah, the Director General of Directorate General of Mines Safety. ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচ (কলকাতা): দীপাবলির আলো ফিকে হওয়ার আগেই দক্ষিণ কলকাতার জোকায় ডি.টি.সি সাউদার্ন হাইটস আবাসনে জগদ্ধাত্রী পুজোয় দেখা মিলল এক টুকরো চন্দননগর! এবছর প্রথমবারের মতো এই আবাসনে আয়োজন করা হয়েছে জগদ্ধাত্রী পূজার, যার মূল ভাবনা “সনাতন সংস্কৃতি”। ঐতিহ্য ও আধুনিকতার অনন্য মেলবন্ধনে গড়ে উঠেছে এই পূজা মণ্ডপে।  যেন ছোট্ট চন্দননগর নেমে এসেছে দক্ষিণ কলকাতার এই আবাসনে। আবাসনের প্রায় ১৩০০ ফ্ল্যাট ও সাড়ে তিন হাজারেরও বেশি বাসিন্দাকে একত্রিত করে এই পূজার আয়োজন করেছে ডি.টি.সি সাউদার্ন হাইটস কালচারাল অ্যাসোসিয়েশন। পুজো কমিটির প্রেসিডেন্ট পুলক কুমার মুখার্জি জানিয়েছেন, “আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য হল সনাতন ধর্মের রীতি মেনে পূজা করা এবং চন্দননগরের ঐতিহ্যকে এই আবাসনের মানুষদের সামনে তুলে ধরা।” মণ্ডপের ভাবনা ও নির্মাণের দায়িত্বে ছিলেন পূজা কমিটির সদস্য সলিল কুমার দাস। তাঁর নকশা ও তত্ত্বাবধানে তৈরি হয়েছে মনোমুগ্ধকর প্যান্ডেল, যা আলো, রঙ ও শৈল্পিকতায় যেন হুবহু চন্দননগরের স্মৃতি জাগিয়ে তুলেছে। পুজো পরিচালনার দায়িত্বে থাকা সদস্য দের মধ্যে অন্যতম অংকুর রায় এবং নুপুর ভট্টাচার্য। বাসিন্দারা জানাচ্ছেন...
