ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচ (কলকাতা):-পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও সিকিম আয়কর বিভাগ ১৭ই মার্চ ২০২৬ মঙ্গলবার কলকাতার আয়কর ভবনের বহুমুখী সভাকক্ষে উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তা, আধিকারিক এবং বিশিষ্ট অতিথিবৃন্দের উপস্থিতিতে আন্তর্জাতিক নারী দিবস উদযাপিত হল।  অনুষ্ঠানটিতে সভাপতিত্ব করেন পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও সিকিমের প্রধান মুখ্য আয়কর কমিশনার শ্রীমতি সুরভি বর্মা গর্গ (IRS)। বিভাগের উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ—যাদের মধ্যে মুখ্য আয়কর কমিশনার এস্থার লাল রুয়াতকিমি (IRS) সহ অন্যান্য কর্মকর্তা ও আধিকারিকগণ এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। সমাবেশে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে, আয়কর বিভাগের প্রধান মুখ্য কমিশনার সুরভি বর্মা গর্গ (IRS) নারী ক্ষমতায়ন এবং জনসেবায় নারীদের ক্রমবর্ধমান ভূমিকার গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে তাঁর মতামত ব্যক্ত করেন। তিনি বিশেষভাবে উল্লেখ করেন যে, নারী আধিকারিক ও কর্মীবৃন্দ নেতৃত্ব, প্রশাসন এবং নীতি বাস্তবায়নের ক্ষেত্রে উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান রাখছেন; এর মাধ্যমে তারা বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানকে শক্তিশালী করে তুলছেন এবং জাতি গঠনে এক তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছেন। তিনি এমন একটি অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক ও সহায়ক পরিবেশ গড়ে তোলার কাজ অব্যাহত রাখার উপর জো...

ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচ (কলকাতা):-ভারত সেবাশ্রম সঙ্ঘ পরিচালিত দক্ষিন ২৪ পরগনা জেলার মথুরাপুর প্রণবানন্দ মানব কল্যাণ কেন্দ্রের উদ্যোগে মথুরাপুর প্রনবানন্দ বিদ্যামন্দিরের  নবনির্মিত ‘মামারাজ আগারওয়ালা ভবন’-এর আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করলেন ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘের প্রধান সম্পাদক স্বামী বিশ্বাত্মানন্দ মহারাজ। এ উপলক্ষে রবিবার পড়ুয়া ও এলাকার মানুষকে নিয়ে স্বামী প্রনবানন্দ মহারাজের ১৩১ তম আবির্ভাব বর্ষ উপলক্ষে এক পদযাত্রায় উপস্থিত হন তিনি৷ অন্যদের মধ্যে  উপস্থিত ছিলেন শিল্পপতি ব্রহ্মানন্দ আগারওয়ালা, মথুরাপুর লোকসভা কেন্দ্রের সাংসদ বাপি হালদার প্রমুখ। স্বামী বিশ্বাত্মানন্দ মহারাজ বলেন , নবনির্মিত এই বিদ্যালয় ভবন এলাকার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের শিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা নেবে বলে তারা মনে করেন৷

ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচ (কলকাতা):-আবৃত্তিওয়ালার উদ্যোগে গত ১৫ মার্চ কলকাতার শিশির মঞ্চে অনুষ্ঠিত হল বর্ণাঢ্য সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান ‘আবৃত্তি পরব’। কবিতা, আবৃত্তি, সঙ্গীত, নৃত্য ও সাহিত্যচর্চার বহুমাত্রিক উপস্থাপনায় ভরপুর এই অনুষ্ঠানে হলভর্তি দর্শক মুগ্ধ হয়ে থাকলেন শেষ পর্যন্ত। অনুষ্ঠানের অন্যতম প্রধান আকর্ষণ ছিল আবৃত্তি ও যন্ত্রসংগীতের মেলবন্ধনে পরিবেশিত বিশেষ পর্ব ‘কাব্যে সুরে’। এই পরিবেশনায় আবৃত্তিওয়ালা ড. পিনাকী চট্টোপাধ্যায় তাঁর কণ্ঠে একের পর এক কবিতা পরিবেশন করে দর্শকদের বিশেষভাবে মুগ্ধ করেন। লালন ফকির, শাহ আব্দুল করিম, রুদ্র মুহাম্মদ শহীদুল্লাহ, শহীদ কাদরী ও নীরেন্দ্রনাথ চক্রবর্তীর কবিতার ব্যতিক্রমী উপস্থাপনা এদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে অন্য মাত্রা যোগ করে। এই পর্বে তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিলেন সংগীতশিল্পী বাপ্পা সেনগুপ্ত।  অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনায় ‘আবৃত্তিজন সম্মাননা’ প্রদান করা হয় বিশিষ্ট লোকগায়ক অভিজিৎ বসু, আবৃত্তিশিল্পী পার্থ মুখোপাধ্যায় এবং নৃত্যগুরু সুজয় ঠাকুর-কে। এদিন কবি অতীশ চট্টোপাধ্যায়-এর কবিতা অবলম্বনে নির্মিত কবিতা–সিনেমা ‘বঙ্গদেশ’-এর পোস্টার প্রকাশ করা হয়। ছবিটিতে আবৃত্তি করেছেন ড. পিনাকী চট্...

INDRAJIT AICH (KOLKATA):- The Cable TV Equipments Traders & Manufacturers Association (CTMA), in association with East Kolkata Nagrik Foundation (EKNF), organised a Free Eye Operation Camp for more than 100 cataract patients from economically weaker sections of society at Lake Town, Kolkata, on Sunday. Dr Shiladitya Mukherjee, eminent eye surgeon, Dr Manoj Baidya, and his team performed phaco surgeries on needy patients at the Foundation's Lake Town facility. The camp, which has become an annual hallmark of CTMA's social welfare calendar, saw more than 100 patients - predominantly elderly - receive sight-restoring surgical care free of charge.
