Ekaa – The One Brings the Powerful Legacy of the 64 Yoginis to Kolkata

INDRAJIT AICH (KOLKATA):- Kolkata witnessed the grand inauguration of Ekaa – The One, a national travelling art exhibition by Dr. Beena S. Unnikrishnan that presented a powerful contemporary interpretation of the 64 Yoginis. The exhibition opened in the city, bringing to audiences a rare artistic engagement with one of India’s most conceptually sophisticated yet under-explored cultural traditions. The inauguration took place in the esteemed presence of Mr. Syed Gardezi, Acting Consul, U.S. Consulate; Mr. Anirban Das, Theme Artist and Director of Bengal Echoes and award-winning Concept Designer for Asian Paints Sharad Shamman; Mr. Raju Burman, Owner of Rupa Publications and Treasurer of the Publishers and Booksellers Guild; and Mr. Silajit Ghosh, Edupreneur and Abstract Expressionist. अखिल भारतीय तेरापंथ महिला मंडल बेहाला शाखा के तरफ से प्रेरणा सम्मान !

संतू चटर्जी (कोलकाता):-अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के मौके पर 7 मार्च को अखिल भारतीय तेरापंथ महिला मंडल पश्चिम बंगाल शाखा ने बेहाला के ऑक्सफोर्ड व्यू सभागृह में प्रेरणा सम्मान और NGO मीट मनाया। इस कार्यक्रम में करीब 14 स्वयंसेवी संस्थाओं ने हिस्सा लिया। यह कार्यक्रम महिलाओं के लक्ष्मी से गृहलक्षी बनने के सफर को पहचान देने के लिए था, ताकि वे अपने परिवार के लिए जो मेहनत करती रहती हैं, जो परिवार निर्माण और सामाजिक निर्माण में बड़ी भूमिका निभाती है, उसे समग्र रूप से पहचान मिले। इस दिन गृहणियों की मेहनत पर एक नाटक भी प्रदर्शित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मौजूद खास मेहमानों में अखिल भारतीय तेरापंथ महिला मंडल वर्किंग कमेटी और बंगाल की संयोजिका संगीता बाफना, शिशु सेवा संगठन की संस्थापक डॉ. मिशेल हैरिसन, लेखिका ज्योति सराफ, धन्या प्रदीप, रेखा जैन और अन्य शामिल थे। साथ ही अखिल भारतीय तेरापंथ महिला मंडल बेहाला शाखा की प्रेसीडेंट महिमा कोठारी, सेक्रेटरी विजय लक्ष्मी वेद, वाइस प्रेसिडेंट कल्पना सुराणा और अन्य भी मौजूद थीं। यह संगठन लंबे समय से समाज में शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य के सुधार के लिए काम क...

आईबीबीएफ सीनियर नेशनल बॉडीबिल्डिंग चैम्पियनशिप के लिए चयन ट्रायल मैच 6 मार्च को मध्यमग्राम के नजरूल सेंटेनरी हॉल में आयोजित किया गया।

संतू चटर्जी (कोलकाता):-पश्चिम बंगाल बॉडीबिल्डिंग और फिजिक्स स्पोर्ट्स एसोसिएशन के प्रेसीडेंट   बाबुन बनर्जी की देखरेख में और बॉडीबिल्डिंग कोच संगलाप नाहर द्वारा आयोजित इस चयन मैच में बंगाल के विभिन्न हिस्सों से 70 से 80  प्रतियोगियों ने भाग लिया। इस प्रतियोगिता में, निर्णायकों द्वारा 12 पुरुष और 1 महिला प्रतियोगियों का चयन किया गया और वे बंगाल की ओर से इंदौर में आयोजित होने वाले आईबीबीएफ सीनियर नेशनल बॉडीबिल्डिंग चैम्पियनशिप में भाग लेंगे। बाबुन बनर्जी के अलावा, मंत्री रथीन घोष, मध्यमग्राम नगरपालिका के पौर प्रधान निमाई घोष, उप पौर प्रधान प्रकाश राहा, ज्योतिषी शंख चटर्जी और अन्य आज प्रतियोगिता में प्रतियोगियों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए उपस्थित थे।
