Unveiling Ceremony Marks Countdown to HC Carnival 2025

INDRAJIT AICH (KOLKATA):-In an exciting lead-up to one of the city’s most anticipated annual sporting events, the Hindusthan Club is all set to host a grand press meet on Friday, 11th July 2025 at 11:00 AM at Lansdowne, Hindusthan Club. This exclusive gathering will bring together media personnel and distinguished guests for the unveiling of key elements of the upcoming HC Carnival 2025 – a much-loved celebration of sports, spirit, and community.The press event will feature the official unveiling of the T-shirt, Logo, Mascot, Medal, and Trophy for HC Carnival 2025. Themed “Play, Perform, Celebrate”, the festival will run from 26th July to 3rd August 2025, offering a dynamic mix of sporting competitions, entertainment, and community bonding. This year’s Carnival also holds special significance as Hindusthan Club marks its 80th year, accompanied by a massive transformation and rejuvenation of its facilities.
A highlight of the Carnival is the participation of prestigious clubs such as Bengal Rowing Club, Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC), Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC), Bengal Rowing Club (BRC), Calcutta Punjab Club (CPC), Saturday Club, Calcutta Swimming Club (CSC), Dalhousie Institute (DI), Host Club (undisclosed for professional reasons). These clubs will compete across an exciting lineup of sports including men's and women's cricket, swimming, pickleball, squash, darts, chess, carrom, table tennis, snooker, 9-ball pool, and many more.
The event is generously supported by esteemed sponsors including Victoria Jute Company, Godavari Commodities Ltd, Hindcon Chemicals Ltd, Ashika Stock Broking, and Shyam Steel Ltd, who share the Club's vision for promoting sportsmanship and community engagement.

संतु चटर्जी (कोलकाता):- बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ऑफिसर्स एसोसिएशन पूर्वी भारत शाखाओं की 60वीं वार्षिक आम सभा की बैठक 27 अक्टूबर को महाजाति सदन, कोलकाता में बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के बैंक अधिकारियों और अन्य राज्यों के संगठन के वरिष्ठ नेताओं की उपस्थिति में आयोजित की गई थी। बैठक में संगठन की ओर से उपस्थित गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने कहा कि बैंक में लंबे समय से स्थायी कर्मचारियों की नियुक्ति नहीं होने के कारण वर्तमान में कार्यरत बैंक कर्मचारियों पर काम का बोझ बढ़ रहा है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप उनकी शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य ख़राब रहता है। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने पांच दिन कार्य दिवस के नारे में कार्य जीवन संतुलन का विषय भी उठाया. फिर उन्होंने कहा कि अगर उच्च अधिकारियों ने इस मांग पर ध्यान नहीं दिया तो वे आंदोलन का रास्ता चुनेंगे. बैठक में एफबीओआईओए के अध्यक्ष नागेश्वर, अध्यक्ष संजय दास, महासचिव नीलेश पवार, संगठन के वरिष्ठ वरिष्ठ नेता रंजीत रंजन रॉय, उड़ीसा राज्य शाखा के नेता कमलजीत महापात्र, झारखंड के सुनील लाकड़ा और बिहार और अन्य राज्यों के सदस्य उपस्थित थे संगठन भी उपस्थित थे
