SPK Jain Futuristic Academy celebrated the sacred festival of Rakshabandhan
in a uniquely heartfelt way — by paying tribute to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and honouring their unmatched courage and selfless service to the nation.In a touching gesture, the students crafted beautiful handmade rakhis and tied them to the wrists of these valiant protectors, offering sincere prayers for their safety, well-being, and long life. The moment was filled with warmth, respect, and a deep sense of gratitude.
Rakshabandhan, one of India’s most cherished festivals, symbolises the unbreakable bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters. The word Rakshabandhan means “the tie or knot of protection” — a tradition that extends far beyond biological siblings, embracing cousins, extended family, and even close friends. In this age-old ritual, sisters tie a rakhi to their brothers, wishing them health and happiness, while brothers pledge to protect and support their sisters for life, often offering gifts as a token of their affection and commitment.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jayeeta Ganguly, Principal of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, shared:
