World Cancer Day 2026 Observed with Survivor Celebration and Symbolic Release
The event was graced by several cancer survivors in sharing inspiring stories of strength and survival. A symbolic balloon release was held as a tribute to survivors and as a collective message of hope, unity and renewed commitment in the fight against cancer.The programme was also attended by Dr. Sujoy Ranjan Deb, Senior Medical Director, Desun Hospital, who emphasised the critical role of awareness and early intervention, along with a host of Oncologists from Desun Hospital.
