Annantaa Marked Stress Awareness Month with High-Impact Student Wellness Session at Calcutta Business School
INDRAJIT AICH (KOLKATA):- As stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue continued to rise among students, Stress Awareness Month 2026, observed globally every April, brought renewed focus to mental well-being and resilience. Marking the occasion, Annantaa collaborated with Calcutta Business School to conduct a dynamic and transformative stress management session aimed at helping students navigate academic and personal pressures more effectively.
The interactive session was led by counselling phycologist and clinical hypnotherapist Ms. Madhuri Sarda and Ms. Vidhi Bansal, who guided students through an insightful exploration of stress, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Designed to go beyond conventional training, the session helped participants understand how their minds function and how they could consciously shift from self-sabotage to self-mastery.
Through a blend of psychological insights and experiential techniques, students were encouraged to identify limiting beliefs, decode negative thought patterns, and build confidence in real time. The session focused on empowering students with practical tools to break negative thinking cycles, shift inner narratives from fear to confidence, and enhance clarity and decision-making abilities.
Participants gained a deeper understanding of how thoughts shape performance and outcomes, while also becoming aware of their self-doubt patterns and emotional triggers. The workshop further explored the psychology of mind power and inner conditioning, highlighting the hidden impact of negative self-talk on academic performance and personal growth. Techniques based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) were introduced to help students reframe and rewire thought patterns, move from overthinking to clarity, and create meaningful internal shifts.
Speaking about the initiative, Ms. Madhuri Sarda, Counselling Psychologist and Founder of Annantaa, said, “During the session, we observed that many students were silently navigating stress and performance pressure. By helping them understand their thought processes and emotional patterns, we aimed to equip them with tools that would support long-term resilience and confidence.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Ms. Vidhi Bansal, Co-Founder and Psychotherapist at Annantaa, added, “The session created a safe and reflective space where students engaged openly and explored their internal challenges. Our focus remained on helping them develop emotional awareness, clarity, and practical coping strategies.”
Through this initiative at Calcutta Business School, Annantaa reinforced its commitment to moving beyond awareness and driving meaningful conversations around mental well-being. By equipping students with practical tools and emotional insights, the session successfully inspired participants to take proactive steps toward resilience, clarity, and confidence—truly embodying the spirit of #BeTheChange.
